I officially started Illusions 2 Truth in 2012 after 5 years of doing gospel magic as a hobby. I grew up watching my uncle do magic shows for family gatherings and church functions, and always seemed to have an interest in illusions. While studying chemistry and physics in college, I began to understand the science behind many of the tricks I had enjoyed as a child. I started out using science demonstrations to illustrate Bible lessons, and quickly realized how well children were able to grasp and internalize the lessons when they could see them illustrated in such a visual manner. I then started using illusions to illustrate almost every Bible lesson I taught. It was not until 2011 that I realized just how effective my ministry is. I heard a group of children discussing various tricks they had seen me do. They were not just talking about the tricks they saw, but they were also explaining the biblical point that went with each trick. God truly uses the art of illusion to reach the hearts of children.
